Happy Beer Can Appreciation Day!
Well, just received a Christmas card from Ju. Knowing Russian mail, the card entered the country a month ago and has just been sitting somewhere ever since. I haven’t seen her in five months and have barely talked to her since I arrived in Russia, but I predicted the contents of this Christmas CD perfectly. Must be a twin hing.
“It’s gonna be all Mariah Carey and James Taylor,” I told my coworkers. Sure enough, Ju didn’t let me down. Thirteen tracks, ten are Mimi, three are Jimmy and every other track is the same Mariah Carey song repeated (not “All I want for Christmas is you” but the other one they play on the radio all the time around Christmas). Классно.
I guess I can play it in the office or something.
Merry belated Christmas, everyone! Go enjoy yourself some Mariah.
